    My cat had to go into emergency at the Alta Vista Clinic in Ottawa. Turns out part of her problem was she was anaemic. It was not her only problem but the treatment for her condition could make her condition worse and she might require a transfusion. Problem was the vet said there was no cat blood supplies in Ottawa right now. Which meant if she did needed it, it was unavailable. The vet did mention Montreal. So I went home and did some calling around. Montreal was out of cats blood. Clinics in Toronto that had blood would not ship it. It was then I found cattransfusion.ca. I phoned my vet and told them I had found a place and could they put in an order. They did phone them put in an order and at that point it was after 3 on a Friday. Originally they said the blood would be in Ottawa on the Monday. I phoned and asked if there was any way it could get here quicker. The man there went out of his way at 5 pm on a Friday, phoned the delivery service talked the girl into holding a truck until he got there. The blood is arriving Saturday morning. All the vets should have this place in their system. It is not easy to find cats blood. It was amazing service!!!!
